Recommendation Thursday: Switched by Amanda Hocking

Switched by Amanda Hocking

When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn’t until eleven years later that Wendy discovers her mother might have been right.

With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed – a world both beautiful and frightening, and Wendy’s not sure she wants to be a part of it.

Switched was definitely one of those books I read when I was still in school – and loved it at the time. My sister actually recommended this book to me since she was reading it at the time. I bought my own copy and actually read it pretty fast. I hardly remember what the book is about or what exactly happened in it, but I absolutely enjoyed it. I’m sure my feelings about it would be slightly different if I ever decide to reread it since I am older.
